Emmy Award winner writes for Katherine’s “Escape”
Emmy Award winning writer Kirk Ellis has been hired to adapt Caroyln Jessop’s best selling memoir “Escape” for Relevant Entertainment, this reports Kheigl.com.
Kirk Ellis won the Emmy 2008 for “John Adams” in the category “Outstanding Miniseries” as well as for his writing for the episode “Independence”. Other prizes include the Writers Guild of America for “Anne Frank: The Whole Story”.
Katherine Heigl plays the lead in “Escape” and produces the film along with her mother Nancy Heigl and Michael Menchel of Relevant Entertainment.
