Various Cast Information For “Roswell”

SHIRI APPLEBY

Thanks to BriBow87 for this:

I rented “Return to Me,” and there was a preview about a new movie coming
out. Who was in this new movie but out friend Shiri Appleby. I don’t remember
what the movie was called but she was starring and she plays this popular
high school girl. That’s all the info i have for now.

JASON BEHR

Thanks to Maya for this:

In the February 2001 issue of J-14 magazine:
TV BOYS: HOW THEY FOUND FAME (pg. 46)

Our favorite alien: Jason Behr
He plays: Alien Max Evans on the WB’s Roswell
More reason to watch: For both sci-fi and Jason fans, the remainder of this season promises to deliver both action and romance.
Starting small: This Minnesota native started doing theater at the age of five, then commercials (Cloralit gum) before landing on a TV show.
A face you can’t ignore: You probably caught sight of this cutie long before Roswell came calling. Guest appearances on the WB’s 7th Heaven, Dawson’s Creek, and Buffy made him a familiar face that we wanted to seemore of. Guess the WB knew they found a star in Jason!
What drives us out of this world: Jason’s mysterious star quality. Hw was, after all, votes “Most Destined For Fame” his senior year in high school.

Picture caption: Jason scrimped and saved to more out to L.A. to pursue his acting dream.

For Reader’s Picks, pg. 104

Stars to Watch in 2001

It teetered on the brink of cancellation only a few months ago until a fervent fan campaign compelled the WB to renew it. Now it looks like Roswell will get its sea legs in its second season. The drama about human teens and (secret) alien teens mingling in New Mexico attracted a fierce fan base that has been spreading the word, and there’s a large following eagerly anticipating new episodes. Much of the buzz has to do with the show’s talented young stars — TEEN PEOPLE named Brendan Fehr one of our Hottest Stars Under 25, and Colin Hanks made our What’s Next list of talent that will explode in 2001.

KATHERINE HEIGL

Thanks to Dawn for this:

I was going through my daughters Seventeen Magazine and on page 110, Katie is
telling about her best date.

“I went to a really great sushi restaurant — I love sushi — with someone I
was able to talk to for hours on end. And then we went back to my house, hung
out on the couch and talked four more hours.” — Katherine Heigl, Roswell

MIKO HUGHES

Thanks to Gidgechum for this:

I just wanted to let you know on Jan 3rd at 4am or 4:30am on the USA network
there was a repeat episode of Americas funniest home videos w/Bob Saget. Miko
Hughes was on his show. He was so cute about 5 or 6 yrs old. He was intro’d
as an up an coming star. Later he rode out on a pony with a kids cowboy hat,
chaps, and vest

I had just gotten home from a long night of year end inventory, my TV was on
from earlier, I’m such a fan of roswell, when he was intro’d I couldn’t
believe it I had just gotten home from work. I had to tell someone.

ROSWELL-GENERAL INFO

Thanks to Michelle for sending this in:

Roswell was mentioned in an article in today’s Sunday Plus. The entire
article’s called TV Shows Worth Our Awards, (byOng Sor Fern) and it
basically highlighted the good shows that had shown on our local TV station,
TCS 5, this year.

Here’s the lil section:

Youth Spirits

Aliens, demons and teenagers, oh my! The best shows on Channel 5 this year
were united by one factor – youth.

Roswell, the alien teenagers stranded on earth series, turned out some
pretty subtle scripts give the out-of-this-world premise.

Popular, the frou-frou teen comedy, grew into a satrical show that tackled
real teen issues.

And the third season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer returned to show that age
has not dulled its bite with fabulous experiments like the Emmy-nominated
Hush, where three-quarters of the show had no dialogue.

Thanks to Nasedo for this:

I bought the latest issue of Buffy The Vampire Slayer magazine (Buffy #10
Winter 2000). There is a full page picture of Roswell Cast in it. But the
great thing is at the bottom it has the information you need to join the
“Roswell Fan Club.” You get a lot of neet things when you sign up.
