We are absolutely humbled by the success “When Do We Eat?” continues to enjoy at film festivals and event screenings around the country:
In addition to Best Feature at the DeadCenter Film Festival in Oklahoma City, Best Comedy at the Napa/Sonoma Wine Country Film Festival, Best Director at the Tahoe/Reno International Film Festival, we’ve recently been awarded:
Best Screenplay at the San Diego Film Festival, and Best Comedy at the San Francisco World Film Festival, thus maintaining a 100% record of winning an award at every festival where we’ve been eligible.
Also, two weeks ago in Florida, we helped raise nearly $20,000 in one screening for Beit Issie Shapiro, a charitable organization for children with developmental disabilities. This is a model we are very interested in pursuing with other groups because it relates to a plan we’ve had since the inception of “When Do We Eat?”, namely, to donate 10% of the real profits of the film (not “Hollywood” profits) to worthy causes.
