Since November 21, 2008 fans of the book series “Twilight” by Stephenie Meyer can watch the film in theaters. The modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire broke all records and the sequel “New Moon” is already in production.
Even before Mike Moody of www.tvsquad.com saw the movie, he was comparing it to “Roswell”.
It’s not exactly the most original story in the world. This sort of thing goes back to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, (and probably further back than that). Still, after watching Twilight, I was a bit shocked by its similarities to Roswell, especially since Roswell wasn’t half as popular as Twilight.
