Katherine Heigl – “One For The Money” Press Tour in Europe

Katherine Heigl is currently in Europe for the “One For The Money” press tour.

During her stay in France, the actress visited the talk show “Le Grand Journal” and she attended the French premiere of “One For The Money” in Paris on January 31, 2012. Next, she headed to Germany in order to visit Esslingen, where her grandfather from the mother’s side lived before he left Germany in 1926. Katherine’s visit included a reception where she was welcomed by the mayor Jürgen Zieger. In addition, Katherine signed the golden book of the city and talked to the local press.

The Stuttgarter Zeitung released several articles about her visit in Esslingen. Below you can watch a video, which was published on the website as well.

In the beginning of this video, the reporter is standing in front of the house her grandfather grew up.

After the visit in Esslingen and Stuttgart, Katherine travelled to Berlin. In the capital city of Germany she will continue the press tour for “One For The Money”. Besides further press commitments, she is going to visit the talk show “Gottschalk Live” on Monday, February 6th. Tune in on 7.20 PM!

Today, Katherine wrote on Facebook: “I am in Berlin for a few days – after a wonderful time in Stuttgart and Esslingen. Thanks so much to the Mayor of Esslingen Dr. Jergen Zieger & and Dr. Peter Kastner for putting it all together, showing us our family history and for making it such a special few days. Also wanted to share my appreciation for all the people I have met on this trip – such a warm welcome from everyone and loved meeting you all. Hope to visit again!”

“One For The Money” will be released in German theaters on April 19th, 2012.
