“Oxygen” The New Roswell?

By • Mar 24th, 2013 • Category: Roswell

Before the “vampire hype” an amazing alien love story touched our hearts. On May 14, 2013 “Roswell” fans are going to celebrate the eleventh year anniversary of “Graduation” and it is possible that The CW will give green light to a new sci-fi series about a human girl who falls in love with an alien boy.

Years after Liz, Max, Isabel, Michael, Maria and Kyle left “Roswell” The CW placed a pilot order for the sci-fi alien/human romantic drama “Oxygen”, which centers on Emery a human teen girl who falls in love with an alien boy who is one of nine members of his race (The Orion 9) that are integrated into a suburban high school.

Written by Meredith Averill (The Good Wife) the pilot will be directed by Gary Fleder, who’s previous pilots “Beauty And The Beast” as well as “Life Unexpected” were picked up to series.

Aimee Teegarden (Friday Night Lights), Matt Lanter (90210), Malese Jow (The Vampire Diaries) and Grey Damon (The Nine Lives of Chloe King) have been cast in lead roles of the pilot which is currently in production.

Would you watch “Oxygen”, if it receives a series order?
