Shiri In “The Meddler”
“I had a ball working with these two lovely ladies yesterday on #themeddler @lorenescafaria #rosebyrne“ Shiri wrote on her Instagram account and shared a behind the scenes photo with Lorene Scafaria and Rose Byrne.
“The Meddler” is the new film from writer and director Lorene Scafaria. The same day, she also posted a photo from the set with Rose and Shiri. Lorene wrote “Brunette party w/ Rose B and @shiriappleby”.
Susan Sarandon and Rose Byrne are playing a mother and daughter duo in the movie. Oscar winner J.K. Simmons is also starring. We can’t wait to learn more about Shiri’s role.

Pic tells the story of Marnie Minervini, a recent widow and eternal optimist who transplants to Hollywood to be closer to her daughter, only to embark on a sea change all her own. Armed with an iPhone and a full bank account, Marnie sets out to make new friends, find her purpose, and possibly maybe even think about dating.
Production kicked off in late March 2015 in Los Angeles.
