“Breaking Bad” alum Aaron Paul joined the cast of Hulu’s “The Way”. The Hollywood Reporter announced, that he will star opposite Michelle Monaghan in the series created by Jessica Goldberg.
He will play the male lead in Hulu’s Jason Katims drama.
Based on a script Katims and his True Jack Productions head of development Michelle Lee and created with Parenthood alum Jessica Goldberg last year, The Way examines a family at the center of a controversial faith-based movement struggling with relationships, marriage and power. Each hourlong episode will take an in-depth look at what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want. The 10-episode straight-to-series drama will go into production in the summer for a winter premiere.
Paul will portray Eddie Cleary, a supportive husband and long-time member of The Way. Having grown up in a troubled blue-collar household, The Way was his way out.
