“All Things Must Pass” Has A Release Date

In an interview with MTV in 2008 Colin Hanks spoke about his music documentary project and explained that “It’s going to be a long process.” Now, seven years later his film “All Things Must Pass” has a release date and the trailer is exclusively available on iTunes.

The documentary about the raise and fall of “Tower Records” features interviews with founder Russ Solomon, former employees as well as music legends. “See what @springsteen, @eltonjohndotcom and DG of @foofighters of have to say in the@TowerRecordsDoc trailer!” Colin wrote on Twitter.

In 1999, Tower Records made $1 billion. In 2006, the company filed for bankruptcy. What went wrong? Everyone thinks they know what killed Tower Records: The Internet. But that’s not the story. All Things Must Pass is a feature documentary film examining this iconic company’s explosive trajectory, tragic demise, and legacy forged by its rebellious founder, Russ Solomon.
