Q. Everyone in my family loves Tom Hanks, but we don’t know much about
his family. For example, how many kids does he have? -Winfred Smith,
El PasoA. Four. And you’re sure to get acquainted soon with his eldest,
handsome 21-year-old Colin who is following Tom’s career path. He’s a
regular on the WB’s teen-alien drama, Roswell (as non-alien Alex
Whitman), and has had a few small movie parts, including one in That
Thing You Do!, which was entirely his dad’s baby. Tom had Colin and
daughter Elizabeth, 17, with his first wife, actress-producer Samantha
Lewes. He has two more sons — Chester, 9, and Truman, 4, with his
current wife, actress Rita Wilson.
