Roswell’s Production coordinator is working on an informal charity campaign for The “Tots for Tots Foundation”. He plans to auction different cast signed items each week. Currently he has a signed Brendan Fehr photo at E bay Auction . This auction ends Sunday Nov 25th.

Here is what he told me about his reasons for choosing this charity:

“As you may know, Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marines, who have distributed hundreds of millions of Christmas gifts to needy children since the late 1940’s.

What got me thinking about Toys for Tots Foundation as a worthwhile charity was the fact that many of the Marines on active duty who provide manpower to the program (and would ordinarily be in the U.S. this holiday season) are instead in the Middle East supporting the war effort. By supporting the Toys for Tots Foundation, we are helping to assure that the program is able to continue this season at the same level as in years past. The Foundation will provide cash as needed to pay for transportation and other logistical support to get the toys where most needed. Non-military volunteers will be needed to pick up the slack created by the war, and Foundation support will help these volunteers with their work.

I think since Toys for Tots is the biggest “toy drive” of its kind this makes it the ideal choice for support. “
