The Festival in Cannes

Today, the 58th Annual Film Festival in Cannes begins. In this year 21 movies are in competition to win the golden palm. The german director Wim Wenders participates with “Don’t Come Knocking” starring Majandra and Marieh Delfino. The film runs on Thursday 19 May in the Grand Theathre Lumière for invited guests only. On the day following it airs again in the Salle Bazin at 1 p.m. Further information can be found on www.festival-cannes.fr/. The golden palm will be award on 21 May.
