Emmy Nominations
On July 19, 2007 the 59th annual Emmy nominations were published. The “television Oscar” will be celebrated on September 16 in Los Angeles. One former Roswell actress is going to be very excited to attend this years event…
Besides Boston Legal, Heroes, House MD and the Sopranos “Grey’s Anatomy” is nominated for “Outstanding drama series”. The series got a couple of more nominations like “Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for A Series, Miniseries, Movie Or A Special” for example.
Katherine Heigl received a nomination as “Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series” alongside her collegues Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh. In addition, Katherine’s good friend T.R. Knight has been nominated in the male category as outstanding supporting actor. Congratulations!
William Sadler played a part in the television mini-series on the events leading up to the US terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 called “The Path To 9/11”. This series earned some nominations, as well. Like “Outstanding Casting For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special”, “Outstanding Cinematography For A Miniseries Or Movie”, “Outstanding Main Title Design”, “Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Miniseries Or A Movie” and “Outstanding Music Composition For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special (Original Dramatic Score)”.
The ABC series “Lost” got nominated, too. Emilie de Ravin is a regular cast member of this show, which received nomination for “Outstanding Directing for A Drama Series” as well as “Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Drama Series” for the episode ‘Through the Looking Glass’.
