“Once Upon a Time” Cancelled
After many magical moments “Once Upon A Time” now comes to an end. ABC has announced that season seven will be its last.
TV Line released a statement from the creators of the show: “Seven years ago, we set out to create a show about hope, where even in the darkest of times, a happy ending would always be possible,” Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, the creators and executive producers of Once Upon a Time, said in a statement Tuesday. “But we never imagined the happy ending that was actually in store for all of us — years and years of adventure, romance, magic and hope. We’re so grateful to our brilliant collaborators — the cast, crew, and writers — as well as our partners at the studio and network for making this journey possible. But most of all, we want to thank the fans. Their fierce loyalty and devotion was the real magic behind Once Upon a Time. We hope they join us for these last few hours as we journey to the Enchanted Forest for one more adventure.”
“Once Upon a Time” premiered in October 2011. Emilie de Ravin first appeared as Belle in season one. “Once Upon A Time” went into a new direction with its seventh season after most of the original cast members including Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Jared Gilmore and Emilie left the show.
Emilie de Ravin is still very passionate about the show. She is even travelling around the world in order to attend conventions and meet fans. After ABC announced the news, Emilie wrote a message to the “Once Upon A Time” fans:
From my first day on this magical set 7yrs ago (pics) I fell in love with this incredible cast & crew, & shortly after with our incredibly devoted & loving fans #oncers. Thank you to everyone for having me along for the ride of a lifetime, & to @adamhorowitzla & @jollychan4 for creating this special version of Belle for me. So much love, Em xoxo
