Happy Birthday “Here With Me”
“Didn’t realise I was singing Here With Me on the twentieth anniversary of its release when I was in Amsterdam last night!”, tweeted singer Dido today. “Here With Me” is the first single the singer released from her 1999 debut studio album “No Angel” and as Roswellians know, the wonderful theme song of “Roswell”.
The song was covered by Sarah Brightman for her album La Luna, which was released in 2000 and most recently, a cover was recorded by Daniel Blake. This version was exclusively featured in the final scene of the first season of The CW’s re-imagining “Roswell, New Mexico”.
“Happy birthday dear song, happy birthday to you! xxx”, wrote the singer on her social media pages and shared a video from last night, which was filmed by @dodididodo.
Didofanbase commented on the post and shared, that the audience didn’t want to stop the applause at the end of the song, which we can totally understand.
Dido’s album “Still On My Mind” is out now and the singer is currently on tour.
Happy Birthday “Here With Me”!!
