“Big Shot” Recasting

In October 2019 it was announced, that Shiri Appleby was cast alongside John Stamos in Disney+’s original series “Big Shot”. The role has now been recast. Now, Jessalyn Gilsig will be taking over the female lead.

The role of Holly, the good-humored and down-to-earth assistant basketball coach, was originally conceived and cast younger and has since evolved to be more of a contemporary to Stamos’ Marvin — and potential love interest for him down the road — leading to the recasting, reports Deadline.
