Roswellians might know John Doe as Liz Parker’s dad, but he’s also the bassist, singer, songwriter, and author best known as cofounder of the L.A. band X. His album ”Alphabetland” is the eighth album of X and the first with their original line-up in the past 35 years, but instead of a busy summer on the road with a rock ‘n’ roll band, he has spent his quarantine in relative quite. The Los Angeles Times spoke with him about his rituals, new vices during the shutdown, music and much more.
