LOVE IS IN THE AIR — The onset of junior prom stirs up emotional tumult as Liz (Shiri Appleby) tempts fate by asking Max (Jason Behr) to be her date, Isabel (Katherine Heigl) decides Alex (Colin Hanks) is the man she’s been searching for, and Michael (Brendan Fehr) tells Maria (Majandra Delfino) he won’t take her to prom. Nick Wechsler, Emilie de Ravin and William Sadler also star. Lawrence Trilling directed the episode written by Jason Katims (#2ADA17).

A MAIN CHARACTER IS KILLED — When one of their closest friends is killed in a suspicious accident, everyone is shocked as their world turns upside down and Max (Jason Behr) is unable to bring one of their gang back to life. They each handle their grief in their own way, as one makes plans to leave Roswell and another looks for answers in the supposed accident. Shiri Appleby, Katherine Heigl, Majandra Delfino, Brendan Fehr, Colin Hanks, Nick Wechsler, Emilie de Ravin and William Sadler also star. Alan Kroeker directed the episode written by Ronald D.
