Shiri Appleby Directs Two Episodes of Netflix’s The Hawk

Shiri Appleby has stepped behind the camera for Netflix‘s new series The Hawk. She directed two episodes and shared a reel on her official Instagram that gives a glimpse behind the scenes at her work on the new comedy show.

The show stars Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon and Jimmy Tatro. The Hawk is available on the streaming platform starting today, July 16, 2026.

You will see Shiri’s name in the credits of episode 5, titled “The Prison Yard“ as well as episode 6, “The Genesis Invitational“.

The full 10-episode first season is now available to stream on Netflix.
