Roswell Philly Party 2002! VIP attendance!

Thanks to ALieN ISaBeL for sending this to me :) I urge you to try and make it if you can – last year’s party was a blast from what I was told.

Hey everyone, I have great news! The next Roswell Philly Party is in the works! Last year’s event was a huge success. We had executive producer Kevin Kelly Brown in attendance, as well as phonecalls via speakerphone from Nick Wechsler and William Sadler. We were able to raise over $3,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation!

This year, we (Suzette; Squirrel Master, Megan; Buttonhead, and myself; ALieN ISaBeL) are doing it again. The event will be held on Saturday, May 11th & Sunday May 12th. It will be held at the same place (The Adam’s Mark Hotel in Philadelphia), but we’re upgrading to an even nicer room. ;-)

All profits will benefit Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy. After hearing so much about the situation affecting Zeke, the son of Roswell co-producer and writer, Garret Lerner, we wanted to do something to help. We are pleased to announce that in attendance will be Majandra Delfino and her manager, Anthony. We will have copies of her CD for sale which she’ll autograph, and she’ll also pose for pictures. Majandra will be joining us for a full-course dinner on Saturday, as well as brunch on Sunday, and a Q&A session to follow. We are very excited! Majandra’s also donating some ‘Roswell’ items and the prototype of the DVD style Special Edition Majandra CD!

We are also trying establish more VIP attendance in hopes of raising even more for such a worthy cause. We’d like to see more cast members come, as well as writers, producers, etc, etc. I’ll keep you guys posted.
