On March 13th, Colin Hanks tweeted “I will not be suprised if the #VeronicaMarsMovie reaches its goal in the first day….” – and he was right! The movie kickstarter campaign has met it’s $2 million budget goal in less than a day and anything thereafter will translate into production-quality gravy, Rob Thomas the creator of the show said in his message on the Kickstarter site.

The campaign now reached $4 million with 16 days to go.

Since today, fans from Europe, Australia and New Zealand can join the party! Veronica Mars Kristen Bell wrote on Twitter: “FINALLY opened up the #VernonicaMarsMovie kickstarter to Europe, Australia and New Zeland!!! http://kck.st/ZmTdi4 let ‘er rip!”

At long last! Europe, Australia and New Zealand can join the party!

As of right now, residents of the following countries can pledge to the Veronica Mars Kickstarter Project: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, UK.

Our first nine reward levels are open to overseas backers. Thank you so much for your patience. We’re so happy to have you aboard.

Canada! Join the revolution!

We said we were trying to make it happen, and now it has. Canadian fans can now pledge to the Veronica Mars movie project.

Please note, we are trying very hard to include additional territories. There are hoops to jump through. (It’s not a shipping cost issue.) Please keep checking back, non-U.S., non-Canadian fans. Give us a few days. Know that we’re trying to make it happen.

With the creator and cast behind this project they showed the studio that there is enough fan interest… and there are surely other tv shows which fans would support… Roswell anyone?

The creator and the cast did an amazing campaign.. again, congratulations to Kristen Bell, Rob Thomas, Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen and Enrico Colanton. If you like to support this movie project be sure to visit Kickstarter and watch their video here:
