Crashdown Cafe Waitress Spotted at C2E2

The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo – also known as C2E2 – was held in Chicago from April 25 – 27, 2014. If you are a huge comic and convention fan, who did attend this fun pop culture event, you might had to take another look, when a girl in a familiar waitress uniform crossed your way.

With the help of her friends Kelly and Steven, Laura Elizabeth Funk was able to wear an almost identical Crashdown uniform!

Laura Elizabeth told Crashdown, “I found the dress after YEARS of searching for the right one and right color. It’s is actually 1950s vintage. My awesome friend ‪Kelly Guentner‬ sewed everything silver!”

When she shared a photo via her Twitter page with the Roswell cast, William Sadler replied within minutes. He wrote impressed “Nice. Menu too I see.” Laura Elizabeth’s friend Steve helped with this perfect prop.

“And ‪Steven Kirk‬ just sweetened up a design template found online so I could print up the menus. The only thing I’m missing for it to be EXACT are the Adidas shoes!” Laura Elizabeth explained.

It’s still very much alike the original. Who cares about the shoes? Don’t you agree?
