In case you wonder, we are watching all the episodes on their original airing date. Since it’s Fall, new shows premiere and others return with brand-new episodes, we won’t stick to the time slot of Roswell’s original first run. With this little change even more fans world-wide are able to join in.

When we watched The Pilot episode on its original airing date, Colin Hanks was kind enough to share a Roswell memory with us. This time, the lovely ladies, Melinda Metz and Laura J. Burns, who penned the “Roswell High” books, on which The WB is based upon, shared some fun facts with us. They revealed, that Laura J. Burns came up with the name of the Crashdown cafe. “So, fun fact: Laura J. Burns came up with the name “Crashdown Cafe” as a way to capture the somewhat campy tone of alien obsession in #Roswell.”

On the next day, when the news about The CW’s plans to re-imagine the “Roswell High” books hit the web, Melinda Metz shared a nostalgic tweet about the beginnings of her work on the books. She wrote “I still remember sitting with @ljburns at the Chat N Chew in NYC, figuring out the arcs for the Roswell High books.” (In case you missed this, you can win an ARC of Melinda’s first adult book. Just tweet #TalkToThePaw to @MelindaMetz. For an extra chance tweet @twoheadedwriter. You’ve got until the end of October. Good luck!)

Fans voted for the hashtag we are going to use and #WhoIsCzechoslovakian won the poll. As you know, Roswell aired around the world. We also heard from a Roswell fan who actually is from the former Czechoslovakia. (The country was peacefully dissolved into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on January 1st, 1993.)

Here’s the fun thing we learned: “I really AM Czechoslovakian, or at least born there:) funny thing Is that in Czech version they translanted Czrchoslovalian to Cuchchus, because Czech people probably wouldnt get IT why they Are called like us. But I am not offended but proud :D #whoisczechoslovakian”

Thanks so much for sharing! Be there, when we watch “Monsters”.
