Rough transcript of Behr on AOL

The chat just ended about 5 min ago- we will edit out the glitches and repost this later, but for those who can’t wait…..

OnlineHost: by the National Captioning Institute.
MrLiveGuy: Jason Behr will be right up- keep sending in those great questions!
MrLiveGuy: Jason Behr is coming up now!
AOL LIVE: >> I ahear you.
AOL LIVE: Jason: apparently some people
AOL LIVE: have been — some people have
AOL LIVE: been sending individual packets,
AOL LIVE: but it’s been — the support for
AOL LIVE: the show from the viewers has
AOL LIVE: been tremendously overwhelming
AOL LIVE: and — and — everyone at the
AOL LIVE: show is very grateful for it.
AOL LIVE: Host: if there is one thing you
AOL LIVE: can change about yourself, what
AOL LIVE: would it be?
AOL LIVE: And what nationality are you?
AOL LIVE: Jason: boy oh boy.
AOL LIVE: Well, I — what I would change
AOL LIVE: about myself?
AOL LIVE: I think that — I don’t have an
AOL LIVE: answer for that one.
AOL LIVE: I think that everyone is flawed
AOL LIVE: and, I think that sometimes the
AOL LIVE: best things about somebody is
AOL LIVE: their flaws.
AOL LIVE: Otherwise if everyone is
AOL LIVE: perfect, it would be kind of
So I don’t have an answer for
AOL LIVE: that one.
AOL LIVE: As far as — what was the other
AOL LIVE: part that of question?
AOL LIVE: Host: what nationality?
AOL LIVE: Jason: wow.
AOL LIVE: I’m a lot of different things.
AOL LIVE: I’m like a Heinz 57.
AOL LIVE: Host: so you’re American.
AOL LIVE: That’s kind of what defines an
AOL LIVE: American.
AOL LIVE: Jason: absolutely.
AOL LIVE: Host: how did you get the part
AOL LIVE: as Max Evans for “Roswell”?
AOL LIVE: >> Well, I read the script for
AOL LIVE: “Roswell” when I was in North
AOL LIVE: Carolina working on “Dawson’s
AOL LIVE: Creek.”
AOL LIVE: And I was having a great time
AOL LIVE: there with everybody on the cast
AOL LIVE: and the crew.
AOL LIVE: And it was just one of those
AOL LIVE: stories that you — I was
AOL LIVE: immediately drawn to,
AOL LIVE: immediately affected by.
AOL LIVE: And I just wanted to be a part
AOL LIVE: of it.
AOL LIVE: Host: what aspect of the story
AOL LIVE: was it that you liked?
AOL LIVE: Was it the alien aspect, the
AOL LIVE: romance?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I think it was
AOL LIVE: everything.
AOL LIVE: The script was rich with
AOL LIVE: metaphor and irony that kept it
AOL LIVE: a little light, but it was also
AOL LIVE: very honest about relationship
AOL LIVE: and about emotion and just — it
AOL LIVE: was one of those things that had
AOL LIVE: a bunch of different elements
AOL LIVE: and a good story.
AOL LIVE: It was very hard to say no to
AOL LIVE: something like that.
AOL LIVE: Themes like teen alienation and
AOL LIVE: the search for self and your
AOL LIVE: place in the world, I think that
AOL LIVE: everybody can kind of associate
AOL LIVE: with.
AOL LIVE: Host: right.
AOL LIVE: Hi, Jason.
AOL LIVE: I just want to say that you do
AOL LIVE: an incredible job on “Roswell”
AOL LIVE: every week, and I’m curious as
AOL LIVE: to what your favorite scene has
AOL LIVE: been during season one?
AOL LIVE: been during season one?
AOL LIVE: Jason: boy, I think my favorite
AOL LIVE: scene on the show thus far has
AOL LIVE: been — everybody on the show is
AOL LIVE: just great.
AOL LIVE: Everyone has their own unique
AOL LIVE: quirks and personalities and
AOL LIVE: it’s just — I’ve been really
AOL LIVE: lucky with the people that I’ve
AOL LIVE: been working with, especially on
AOL LIVE: “Roswell.”
AOL LIVE: But my favorite scene so far I
AOL LIVE: think would probably have to be
AOL LIVE: — God, Katherine Heigl, she
AOL LIVE: breaks my heart.
AOL LIVE: She’s a wonderful actress.
AOL LIVE: And there was a scene in “The
AOL LIVE: Toy house” whether we were
AOL LIVE: discussing whether or not to
AOL LIVE: tell our mother to get her to
AOL LIVE: try to help us because we were
AOL LIVE: sort of stuck between disclosing
AOL LIVE: try to help us because we were
AOL LIVE: sort of stuck between disclosing
AOL LIVE: the truth or asking her to stop
AOL LIVE: asking questions.
AOL LIVE: And there’s a scene at the end
AOL LIVE: where I had to tell her that I
AOL LIVE: couldn’t, and it was just — it
AOL LIVE: was just one of those things
AOL LIVE: when you’re doing a scene, it
AOL LIVE: just felt very real.
AOL LIVE: Host: yeah, that’s cool.
AOL LIVE: I mean S. that what you look for
AOL LIVE: to forget that you’re acting and
AOL LIVE: just be in the moment?
AOL LIVE: I mean, is that what —
AOL LIVE: Jason: Yeah, I think all the
AOL LIVE: rest of the technical aspects of
AOL LIVE: it, you learn along the way.
AOL LIVE: But if you’re not there and
AOL LIVE: you’re not feeling what you’re
AOL LIVE: supposed to be feeling, you’re
AOL LIVE: just kind of fabricating that,
AOL LIVE: people see it.
AOL LIVE: I mean there are certain tricks
AOL LIVE: that actors use to make
AOL LIVE: themselves appear to feel a
AOL LIVE: certain way, but most of the
AOL LIVE: people out there watching are a
AOL LIVE: little more intelligent than
AOL LIVE: that.
AOL LIVE: And the camera picks that up.
AOL LIVE: So if you’re not really there
AOL LIVE: and you’re not really feeling
AOL LIVE: it, it’s just kind of fake.
AOL LIVE: Host: You said everyone has
AOL LIVE: their own little quirks,
AOL LIVE: personality.
AOL LIVE: Out of the whole cast of
AOL LIVE: “Roswell,” who are you mostly
AOL LIVE: close to, love grace?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I’m glad your name isn’t
AOL LIVE: that and it’s Grace.
AOL LIVE: Everybody on the show has been
AOL LIVE: — again, they’re a unique group
AOL LIVE: of individuals.
AOL LIVE: a way that is just special.
AOL LIVE: Everybody is great to work with.
AOL LIVE: And we all have fun when we
AOL LIVE: should.
AOL LIVE: Sometimes we mess around a
AOL LIVE: little more than we should, and
AOL LIVE: should probably remain a little
AOL LIVE: more focused.
AOL LIVE: But for the most part we just
AOL LIVE: have a good time when we’re
AOL LIVE: supposed to, on and off.
AOL LIVE: The screen.
AOL LIVE: Host: What is going to happen
AOL LIVE: with you and Liz?
AOL LIVE: Any hints, please, please,
AOL LIVE: pretty please?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I’m not exactly sure
AOL LIVE: what’s going to happen with Liz.
AOL LIVE: exploring that relationship for,
AOL LIVE: like, the first part of the year
AOL LIVE: basically just trying to — any
AOL LIVE: relationship you get into is
AOL LIVE: complicated, especially that of
AOL LIVE: what you think is supposed to be
AOL LIVE: that true love, that one special
AOL LIVE: person.
AOL LIVE: Host: Right.
AOL LIVE: Jason: And we’ve been slowly but
AOL LIVE: suring allowing them to get
AOL LIVE: closer and closer and closer.
AOL LIVE: But just — it’s like Murphy’s
AOL LIVE: Law.
AOL LIVE: When things start to get just at
AOL LIVE: that moment of being perfect,
AOL LIVE: something is going to happen.
AOL LIVE: I don’t know exactly what that
AOL LIVE: is.
AOL LIVE: But right now Liz and Max are
AOL LIVE: very, very close and very much
AOL LIVE: happy together, regardless of
AOL LIVE: the circumstances they’re in.
AOL LIVE: Host: How far ahead do you know?
AOL LIVE: I mean, do the producers, do
AOL LIVE: they talk to you about, you
AOL LIVE: know, your overall story arc?
AOL LIVE: Or does it surprise you as it
AOL LIVE: surprises viewers?
AOL LIVE: Jason: It certainly surprises
AOL LIVE: me.
AOL LIVE: Sometimes you read a script and
AOL LIVE: — and, what the hell’s that
AOL LIVE: about?
AOL LIVE: But I think that’s the nice
AOL LIVE: thing about it is that the
AOL LIVE: writers don’t really divulge too
AOL LIVE: much information to you because
AOL LIVE: I think the whole story about
AOL LIVE: “Roswell” is that — is that
AOL LIVE: moment of discovery and as we
AOL LIVE: discover as a cast and when
AOL LIVE: we’re reading the scripts, we —
AOL LIVE: if we have any idea of what is
AOL LIVE: in store for the future, we
AOL LIVE: might be foreshadowing without
AOL LIVE: even knowing it.
AOL LIVE: So they allow us certain
AOL LIVE: information but a lot is
AOL LIVE: withheld because of that.
AOL LIVE: Host: Sunspot says what is
AOL LIVE: tonight’s “Roswell” about?
AOL LIVE: Jason: Tonight’s episode is
AOL LIVE: called “lies and videotape” and
AOL LIVE: this girl sets off red flags to
AOL LIVE: everybody.
AOL LIVE: Everybody new in their lives is
AOL LIVE: considered a danger, is
AOL LIVE: considered different and,
AOL LIVE: therefore, everyone is paranoid
AOL LIVE: just about everyone.
AOL LIVE: So we suspect her to be a
AOL LIVE: government spy.
AOL LIVE: And she has — Max is sort of —
AOL LIVE: he’s oddly drawn to her in a way
AOL LIVE: that he shouldn’t be because
AOL LIVE: he’s supposed to be completely
AOL LIVE: in love with Liz.
AOL LIVE: And he thinks that it has
AOL LIVE: something to do with that she
AOL LIVE: could be an F.B.I. spy, and so
AOL LIVE: the whole episode tonight is
AOL LIVE: about trying to discover
AOL LIVE: information about her without
AOL LIVE: letting on that we’re actually
AOL LIVE: looking because it’s pretty
AOL LIVE: dangerous the way that they’ve
AOL LIVE: built up this F.B.I. special
AOL LIVE: unit, how — how elite they are
AOL LIVE: and how dangerous they are and
AOL LIVE: that killing somebody is not
AOL LIVE: really beyond their means.
AOL LIVE: I mean, they — they’ve been not
AOL LIVE: too nice to a lot of people.
AOL LIVE: Host: So the risks are high?
AOL LIVE: Jason: Yes.
AOL LIVE: Host: Grace is back.
AOL LIVE: I’ll just call her Grace.
AOL LIVE: What was the craziest thing a
AOL LIVE: fan ever did to get your
AOL LIVE: attention?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I don’t have anything for
AOL LIVE: that one either.
AOL LIVE: The people for the most part
AOL LIVE: have been just very gracious and
AOL LIVE: very kind and there hasn’t been
AOL LIVE: any incident that I can recall
AOL LIVE: that has been anything that
AOL LIVE: crosses lines.
AOL LIVE: Everyone has been very
AOL LIVE: respectful and incredibly just
AOL LIVE: gracious is the best word I can
AOL LIVE: use.
AOL LIVE: They don’t have to do this kind
AOL LIVE: of stuff.
AOL LIVE: I mean, you guys don’t have to
AOL LIVE: do this kind of stuff, and I
AOL LIVE: know that I myself am very
AOL LIVE: thankful for it and I know that
AOL LIVE: everyone at “Roswell” and all
AOL LIVE: the support that we’ve gotten,
AOL LIVE: everyone is just very, very
AOL LIVE: thankful.
AOL LIVE: Host: Do you get stopped on the
AOL LIVE: street by your fans?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I’ve been working for,
AOL LIVE: like, the past nine months.
AOL LIVE: So I really haven’t had an
AOL LIVE: opportunity to go out and do
AOL LIVE: much of anything else.
AOL LIVE: But when they do stop and say
AOL LIVE: something, it’s just very —
AOL LIVE: it’s very nice and they don’t
AOL LIVE: try to draw too much attention.
AOL LIVE: So far I haven’t had a bad
AOL LIVE: experience.
AOL LIVE: Host: That’s great.
AOL LIVE: That’s good.
AOL LIVE: Luna says who is your biggest
AOL LIVE: role model?
AOL LIVE: Jason: My biggest role model?
AOL LIVE: Definitely have to be my mother.
AOL LIVE: She — she was incredibly
AOL LIVE: supportful of me.
AOL LIVE: In pursuing this and in doing
AOL LIVE: this.
AOL LIVE: Never — never pushed me to do
AOL LIVE: anything that I didn’t want to
AOL LIVE: do, just always said whatever
AOL LIVE: you want to do, Jason.
AOL LIVE: If that makes you happy, then go
AOL LIVE: for it.
AOL LIVE: I believe in you.
AOL LIVE: She taught me a lot in my life.
AOL LIVE: Host: That’s good.
AOL LIVE: That’s lucky.
AOL LIVE: I know a lot of actors have
AOL LIVE: trouble with their parents
AOL LIVE: sometimes getting into the
AOL LIVE: business because it is such a
AOL LIVE: risky business.
AOL LIVE: So that’s lucky.
AOL LIVE: That’s a good thing to have.
AOL LIVE: Jason: I feel very lucky.
AOL LIVE: Host: Pam says what is the one
AOL LIVE: place on the planet that you
AOL LIVE: would like to visit or see?
AOL LIVE: Jason: Place I’d like to see?
AOL LIVE: I would love to go to — to
AOL LIVE: Europe.
AOL LIVE: I haven’t been — the only place
AOL LIVE: that I’ve really been outside
AOL LIVE: the United States is Cancun.
AOL LIVE: And that was for a senior trip
AOL LIVE: of mine.
AOL LIVE: And so I really — I haven’t had
AOL LIVE: outside the United States.
AOL LIVE: So I’d love to go to Europe.
AOL LIVE: I’d love to go to Italy and
AOL LIVE: Greece and England, France,
AOL LIVE: ireland, Scotland.
AOL LIVE: I’d love to take the opportunity
AOL LIVE: to go over there and just
AOL LIVE: experience that culture because
AOL LIVE: there’s so much history there.
AOL LIVE: And pretty good food, too.
AOL LIVE: Host: Maybe the show — you
AOL LIVE: know, the F.B.I. will chase you
AOL LIVE: guys across the world.
AOL LIVE: Jason: We take it on the road.
AOL LIVE: That wouldn’t be a bad idea.
AOL LIVE: Host: You could work and get
AOL LIVE: your fraffling done at the same
AOL LIVE: time.
AOL LIVE: Star says, Jason, do you have
AOL LIVE: any secret crushes on movie
AOL LIVE: stars?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I was always a huge fan
AOL LIVE: of Audrey Hepburn.
AOL LIVE: I had the biggest crush on her
AOL LIVE: when I was a kid.
AOL LIVE: Just class.
AOL LIVE: Elegant, graceful.
AOL LIVE: Yeah.
AOL LIVE: Host: Yeah, she was great.
AOL LIVE: Angel says, hi, Jason.
AOL LIVE: I love the show.
AOL LIVE: I was wondering what you like to
AOL LIVE: do in your free time?
AOL LIVE: If you have any.
AOL LIVE: Jason: We just wrapped the show
AOL LIVE: about three days ago, so I
AOL LIVE: really haven’t had much free
AOL LIVE: time before that because — you
AOL LIVE: can break the season up into
AOL LIVE: three parts.
AOL LIVE: The beginning part of the season
AOL LIVE: was kind of getting to know the
AOL LIVE: characters and how they relate
AOL LIVE: to each other and as those
AOL LIVE: relationships involve those
AOL LIVE: changes, they’ve kind of paired
AOL LIVE: off the characters.
AOL LIVE: And then the second part was
AOL LIVE: trying to find out what we do
AOL LIVE: from there with moving the show
AOL LIVE: forward.
AOL LIVE: In the last six shows we have in
AOL LIVE: the series, this first season,
AOL LIVE: everything moves, everything
AOL LIVE: changes, everything is
AOL LIVE: constantly evolving.
AOL LIVE: All this information that
AOL LIVE: they’ve gathered about
AOL LIVE: themselves and what they’ve
AOL LIVE: thought to be true ends up not
AOL LIVE: being what they really thought.
AOL LIVE: And so we’ve been putting a lot
AOL LIVE: of hard work in the last six
AOL LIVE: episodes of the show.
AOL LIVE: So I haven’t had a lot of free
AOL LIVE: time.
AOL LIVE: But when I do get free time, I
AOL LIVE: enjoy spending time with my
AOL LIVE: family a lot.
AOL LIVE: And watching movies.
AOL LIVE: I have a lot of movies to catch
AOL LIVE: up on.
AOL LIVE: I possibly can.
AOL LIVE: And I love watching them.
AOL LIVE: The Lakers and the Timberwolves,
AOL LIVE: a big fan.
AOL LIVE: So that’s what I mostly do with
AOL LIVE: my free time.
AOL LIVE: Host: Cool.
AOL LIVE: Was it hard making the
AOL LIVE: transition from “Dawson’s Creek”
AOL LIVE: to “Roswell”?
AOL LIVE: Because on “Dawson’s Creek” you
AOL LIVE: were more of a mean character.
AOL LIVE: Jason: That’s very nice.
AOL LIVE: Mean is probably the nicest way
AOL LIVE: to put it.
AOL LIVE: Chris Wolfe, the character I
AOL LIVE: played on “Dawson’s Creek” was
AOL LIVE: like an unapoll jet cli fun
AOL LIVE: character.
AOL LIVE: He really didn’t have any
AOL LIVE: responsibilities, and he didn’t
AOL LIVE: care about stepping on anybody’s
AOL LIVE: toes.
AOL LIVE: He just wanted to have a good
AOL LIVE: time and enjoy himself.
AOL LIVE: So he didn’t really care too
AOL LIVE: much about the consequences of
AOL LIVE: his actions.
AOL LIVE: On “Roswell,” Max is kind of the
AOL LIVE: polar opposite of that.
AOL LIVE: He’s sort of the an —
AOL LIVE: antithesis to Chris Wolfe.
AOL LIVE: Everything he does has
AOL LIVE: consequences.
AOL LIVE: I just have to get in the
AOL LIVE: mindset that everyone is
AOL LIVE: watching, everybody knows what
AOL LIVE: you’re doing and to make a move
AOL LIVE: and to do anything in his life,
AOL LIVE: he really has to think things
AOL LIVE: out, which is — it’s kind of
AOL LIVE: sad in a way to live your life
AOL LIVE: like.
AOL LIVE: That but that’s the only choice
AOL LIVE: you have.
AOL LIVE: Host: Is it more fun to play
AOL LIVE: someone with more abandon?
AOL LIVE: Jason: Sometimes.
AOL LIVE: Sometimes yes.
AOL LIVE: Sometimes yes.
AOL LIVE: But there’s a limit to that
AOL LIVE: because a character like that —
AOL LIVE: on “Dawson’s Creek,” he was sort
AOL LIVE: of limited to his character
AOL LIVE: development.
AOL LIVE: He couldn’t change into the good
AOL LIVE: guy.
AOL LIVE: He couldn’t realize he was
AOL LIVE: making the wrong choices,
AOL LIVE: because if he did, as soon as he
AOL LIVE: did that he wouldn’t be Chris
AOL LIVE: Wolfe, the wild guy.
AOL LIVE: But I had a great time.
AOL LIVE: He was a fun character to play.
AOL LIVE: But I didn’t see much longevity
AOL LIVE: in him.
AOL LIVE: But with Max, I mean, he’s just
AOL LIVE: kind of coming out of his shell
AOL LIVE: a little bit and being able to
AOL LIVE: spread his wings.
AOL LIVE: Host: Lots of potential there.
AOL LIVE: Jason: There’s a lot of
AOL LIVE: potential there.
AOL LIVE: Host: How old were you when you
AOL LIVE: first started acting?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I was 5 years old.
AOL LIVE: I did a Season’s Greeting for a
AOL LIVE: local station in Minneapolis.
AOL LIVE: And I remember distinctly
AOL LIVE: thinking that a guy who was —
AOL LIVE: who was driving a coach, a coach
AOL LIVE: and buggy, it was a season’s
AOL LIVE: greeting affiliate tag for one
AOL LIVE: of the stations.
AOL LIVE: And the guy was driving the
AOL LIVE: buggy looked like Abraham
AOL LIVE: Lincoln.
AOL LIVE: And I think at that time when I
AOL LIVE: was 5 years old I knew that
AOL LIVE: Abraham Lincoln was a president
AOL LIVE: we had, but I didn’t know he was
AOL LIVE: dead.
AOL LIVE: I thought how did they get him
AOL LIVE: to drive this buggy this so that
AOL LIVE: was my first acting job.
AOL LIVE: Host: Did you continue after
AOL LIVE: that?
AOL LIVE: Was it something you wanted to
AOL LIVE: do since that time?
AOL LIVE: Jason: Yeah.
AOL LIVE: Absolutely.
AOL LIVE: Absolutely.
AOL LIVE: I got out of school.
AOL LIVE: They gave me McDonald’s happy
AOL LIVE: meals, and I thought this is the
AOL LIVE: life.
AOL LIVE: So I think that was what first
AOL LIVE: bit me.
AOL LIVE: But since then I was doing some
AOL LIVE: theater and some commercials and
AOL LIVE: stuff and I moved out here after
AOL LIVE: high school and that’s when I
AOL LIVE: really pursued it.
AOL LIVE: Host: Mandy would like to know,
AOL LIVE: I noticed the Gopher hat.
AOL LIVE: Still clinging to your Minnesota
AOL LIVE: roots?
AOL LIVE: Jason: Yeah, yeah.
AOL LIVE: Thank you, Mandy.
AOL LIVE: Most people ask me if it means
AOL LIVE: Michigan or Mickey mouse.
AOL LIVE: Yeah, I’ve had it for a while.
AOL LIVE: I go back to Minnesota as much
AOL LIVE: as I possibly can.
AOL LIVE: Lately it’s been less, but
AOL LIVE: usually twice a year.
AOL LIVE: It’s a beautiful city.
AOL LIVE: It’s something that eventually
AOL LIVE: I’d love to have a place back
AOL LIVE: there.
AOL LIVE: Host: Do you like Los Angeles?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I love Los Angeles.
AOL LIVE: Los Angeles is, culturally it’s
AOL LIVE: open.
AOL LIVE: There’s so much here to learn,
AOL LIVE: so much to experience.
AOL LIVE: And you can go and do anything
AOL LIVE: you want.
AOL LIVE: I mean, one morning you can go
AOL LIVE: surfing.
AOL LIVE: You can wake up the next morning
AOL LIVE: you want.
AOL LIVE: I mean, one morning you can go
AOL LIVE: surfing.
AOL LIVE: You can wake up the next morning
AOL LIVE: and drive to the mountains and
AOL LIVE: go skiing or snowboarding.
AOL LIVE: You can go hiking or fishing or
AOL LIVE: you can go to one of the clubs
AOL LIVE: on the strip.
AOL LIVE: You can do just about anything
AOL LIVE: you want here.
AOL LIVE: So I absolutely love it out
AOL LIVE: here.
AOL LIVE: Host: A real “Roswell” well says
AOL LIVE: will you and/or the others in
AOL LIVE: the cast ever come to visit the
AOL LIVE: real Roswell, New Mexico.
AOL LIVE: By the way, you are all
AOL LIVE: incredible and the show rocks.
AOL LIVE: Jason: Thank you very much.
AOL LIVE: Thank you.
AOL LIVE: In the beginning we thought that
AOL LIVE: we might want to go travel, take
AOL LIVE: like a class trip and all —
AOL LIVE: Host: Research trip.
AOL LIVE: Jason: Yeah.
AOL LIVE: And all go down to Roswell and
AOL LIVE: check it out.
AOL LIVE: But things just happened to
AOL LIVE: fast, we’re never really allowed
AOL LIVE: to.
AOL LIVE: So I’m not sure if it — it will
AOL LIVE: be a wonderful, interesting
AOL LIVE: experience to go down there now.
AOL LIVE: of stuff in Roswell is, like,
AOL LIVE: that in reality.
AOL LIVE: Apparently they have a lot of
AOL LIVE: the little U.F.O. centers.
AOL LIVE: Host: Do you guys get contacted
AOL LIVE: by people from Roswell?
AOL LIVE: I mean, do you get a lot of fan
AOL LIVE: letters from people from there?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I’ve gotten a few.
AOL LIVE: I’ve gotten a few from Roswell.
AOL LIVE: But everything’s been really
AOL LIVE: nice, all the stuff that I get.
AOL LIVE: Host: Do you get contacted by
AOL LIVE: aliens?
AOL LIVE: Do they send you fan letters?
AOL LIVE: Jason: Not that I know of.
AOL LIVE: Host: Which leads me to the next
AOL LIVE: question here.
AOL LIVE: Do you believe and I’m sure
AOL LIVE: you’ve been asked this before,
AOL LIVE: do you believe in aliens?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I have been asked that
AOL LIVE: before, a couple times.
AOL LIVE: But I don’t know.
AOL LIVE: You know, scientists say that
AOL LIVE: it’s mathematically impossible
AOL LIVE: for us to be the only ones out
AOL LIVE: there, and when you look up
AOL LIVE: there, it’s a pretty big space.
AOL LIVE: And you have the sense of
AOL LIVE: feeling really, really small
AOL LIVE: with all that out there.
AOL LIVE: But I don’t think anyone’s
AOL LIVE: really going to truly believe
AOL LIVE: until it’s sitting right in
AOL LIVE: front of you.
AOL LIVE: And talking to you.
AOL LIVE: Because no one really wants to
AOL LIVE: believe something like that
AOL LIVE: until — well, I shouldn’t say
AOL LIVE: no one, but most of the people
AOL LIVE: out there are not going to
AOL LIVE: really accept it until it’s
AOL LIVE: actual, tangible proof.
AOL LIVE: And I think that that day could
AOL LIVE: come in the next 10 years.
AOL LIVE: It could come in the next 200
AOL LIVE: years.
AOL LIVE: It may never come at all.
AOL LIVE: But until that time it’s just
AOL LIVE: pure speculation.
AOL LIVE: Host: Jody wants to know, hey,
AOL LIVE: Jason.
AOL LIVE: I’m dying to know, how ever been
AOL LIVE: victim to a practical joke or
AOL LIVE: been part of a practical joke on
AOL LIVE: the set?
AOL LIVE: Who is the biggest goof on the
AOL LIVE: set?
AOL LIVE: Love you.
AOL LIVE: Jason: Well, Jody, I think
AOL LIVE: everyone has fallen victim to
AOL LIVE: some sort of practical joke in
AOL LIVE: their life.
AOL LIVE: On the set of “Roswell,” we have
AOL LIVE: a few goofoffs.
AOL LIVE: Host: And are you one of them?
AOL LIVE: Jason: I think everybody has a
AOL LIVE: good time.
AOL LIVE: Everybody has a good time on the
AOL LIVE: set.
AOL LIVE: could probably say right now
AOL LIVE: happened.
AOL LIVE: There are some alleged things,
AOL LIVE: but for the most part it’s just
AOL LIVE: — it’s just noises and bodily
AOL LIVE: functions.
AOL LIVE: Sometimes people have a tendency
AOL LIVE: to do that.
AOL LIVE: But usually it’s a camera
AOL LIVE: operator — Max, if you’re out
AOL LIVE: there, I’m sorry.
AOL LIVE: Not the camera operator, but one
AOL LIVE: of the camera assistants had a
AOL LIVE: penchant for flat lation.
AOL LIVE: And it wasn’t so much a
AOL LIVE: practical joke but a daily
AOL LIVE: occurrence.
AOL LIVE: We sort of learned to live with.
AOL LIVE: Host: So at first it was funny
AOL LIVE: and it just became —
AOL LIVE: Jason: Yeah.
AOL LIVE: Host: We love you here in
AOL LIVE: Australia.
AOL LIVE: Do you ever plan to visit
AOL LIVE: Australia to promote “Roswell”?
AOL LIVE: Jason: Thank you very much.
AOL LIVE: Thank you.
AOL LIVE: Australia.
AOL LIVE: The girl who plays Tess is
AOL LIVE: actually from Australia.
AOL LIVE: And we have one of our crew
AOL LIVE: ladies is from Australia, and
AOL LIVE: they were both telling me that I
AOL LIVE: the country.
AOL LIVE: And at some point I would love
AOL LIVE: to come down there, if they
AOL LIVE: would have me, you know, to
AOL LIVE: promote the show or just to take
AOL LIVE: a vacation.
AOL LIVE: Host: Sounds like they would
AOL LIVE: have you.
AOL LIVE: Jason, ever coming back to North
AOL LIVE: Carolina for a reunion on
AOL LIVE: “Dawson’s Creek”?
AOL LIVE: I live here and would love to
AOL LIVE: see you.
AOL LIVE: Jason: I tried three times this
AOL LIVE: year to get down there.
AOL LIVE: One of the directors who was on
AOL LIVE: “Dawson’s Creek” I became really
AOL LIVE: good friends with and he came
AOL LIVE: over and directed a few of the
AOL LIVE: “Roswell” episodes.
AOL LIVE: And we were trying to schedule a
AOL LIVE: surprise visit, but nothing ever
AOL LIVE: worked out.
AOL LIVE: It was just kind of like, you
AOL LIVE: know, we’re working so much and
AOL LIVE: to get us to North Carolina from
AOL LIVE: Los Angeles, you have to take a
AOL LIVE: plane to New York and then —
AOL LIVE: I’m sorry, a plane to Charlotte
AOL LIVE: and then you have to take a
AOL LIVE: smaller plane to North Carolina
AOL LIVE: to Wilmington.
AOL LIVE: Or you can go to New York and
AOL LIVE: then go back.
AOL LIVE: Most of the time I stop in
AOL LIVE: Charlotte.
AOL LIVE: But it takes all day to get
AOL LIVE: there.
AOL LIVE: So if I were to get off work on

AOL LIVE: get there on a Saturday night,
AOL LIVE: I’d have to leave Sunday to be

AOL LIVE: tune in to find out.
AOL LIVE: The season finale, I don’t even
AOL LIVE: know exactly what the date is on
AOL LIVE: that.

AOL LIVE: might happen.
AOL LIVE: Host: Love Jason, it says are

AOL LIVE: wrapped, and I’ve been reading
AOL LIVE: scripts trying to find just the
AOL LIVE: right one.
AOL LIVE: To work on over the summer.
AOL LIVE: Because we only have three
AOL LIVE: months between seasons.
AOL LIVE: And I’ve read a few scripts out
AOL LIVE: there and some of it is very
AOL LIVE: interesting.
AOL LIVE: I’m just trying to find the
AOL LIVE: right one that I feel that’s the
AOL LIVE: one I want to do, that eat one I
AOL LIVE: really can have a good time on.
AOL LIVE: Host: Well, that was our last
AOL LIVE: question.
AOL LIVE: Thank you so much for coming.
AOL LIVE: A pleasure to have you here.
AOL LIVE: Jason: Thank you.
AOL LIVE: Host: Good luck on your break.
AOL LIVE: Hope you find that script and
AOL LIVE: get some rest.
