‘NSync’s Justin Timberlake Hosts Close-up Look at Today’s Most Popular Young Stars from Music, Film and Television
ABC presents the second annual one-hour special highlighting Teen People Magazine’s 25 hottest young stars under 25. Hosted by ‘NSync’s Justin Timberlake, the show will feature profiles of today’s most popular artists from the worlds of music, film and television, in “Teen People’s 25 Hottest Stars Under 25,” airing FRIDAY, MAY 26 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
The edgy, fast-paced special will take a look at the personal and professional lives of 25 stars — their stories, careers, families, pastimes and points of view — at home and on location all over the world. Christina Aguilera will give an exclusive performance of her ballad, “I Turn to You,” from Disney World in Orlando. Profiles will include in-depth interviews with Jennifer Love Hewitt, Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias. The special will
also present exclusive footage from Drew Barrymore from the red carpet at the Oscars, Jason Biggs (“American Pie”) from courtside at an NBA game, rap artist Sisqo from the fudge factory where he worked in high school, opera singer Charlotte Church on tour and at
home in Wales, R&B singer Mya from a music video dance rehearsal, and pop singer Mandy Moore from a photo shoot in beautiful Cancun.
Other celebrities include Mena Suvari (“American Beauty”), Freddie Prinze, Jr. (“She’s All That”), Rich Cronin (L.F.O.), Brian Litrell (Backstreet Boys), Carly Pope (“Popular”), ‘NSync,
pop singer Jessica Simpson, Hanson, the cast from “That 70s Show,” Brendan Fehr (“Roswell”) and rap artist Eve.
ABC.com and Teen People online on AOL will conduct a poll from May 1-11. Online users will choose who is the hottest of all 25 stars profiled and the results will be revealed in the one-hour special airing on May 26.
