Ahoy There Space Rangers!

It’s me, your fearless leader logging in from way up North in Halifax, Nova Scotia where I’m about to film my third “Jesse Stone” movie with Tom (why is he so f%#&king tall) Selleck. I’m reprieving my role as the impeccably dressed, light-in-the-loafers, kill-you-as-soon-as-look-at-you, what-the-f%$k-are-you-gawkin’-at, fight promoter, Gino Phish. Great fun and great people. The show is called “No Remorse” and will be coming to a TV near you soon.

How are you folks holding up under the strain of all this news lately? I must admit I can’t turn off my TV. Everyday brings some ‘fresh hell’ and like a bad car crash, I can’t look away. I was deeply troubled by all the violent, lynch mob rhetoric I heard last week. Glad it seems to have abated somewhat. Dangerous and irresponsible stuff.

The gentle Canadians are having their election tomorrow eh. Pretty cool eh? It’s very strange to talk to them about their politics and hear their thoughts on ours eh. Like everywhere else I’ve been in the last year or so they’re watching our country’s election news like it was their own. And also like everywhere else I’ve been, they can’t wait for our current Pres to ride off into the sunset. This of course is not a scientific survey. Just folks I happen to talk to in the course of a days, but still the feeling seems to be unanimous. Boy is it time for some new ideas!

Well, I’d better get back to learnin’ my lines eh? Tom’ll be counting on me. Stay safe and write often.
