Comic-Con Panels For SyFy’s “Defiance” And “Helix”

Ronald D. Moore will discuss his new SyFy series “Helix” at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday July 19, 2013. His upcoming series is an intense thriller about a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that holds the key to mankind’s salvation or total annihilation.

SyFy has four panels at Comic-Con, this year. Set to be featured in panels are “Being Human”, “Warehouse 13”, “Helix” as well as “Defiance”.

In “Defiance” Julie Benz plays Amanda Rosewater – the idealistic mayor. On May 10th, Syfy renewed the series giving a 13-episode second season order. The panel will take place on July 19, as well.
