“Madame Secretary”

The new CBS show “Madame Secretary” is going to premiere tonight Sunday, September 21 at 8:30 PM ET / 8 PM PT. William Sadler shoot a guest appearance on the show earlier this year. He plays a character named George, who is Elizabeth McGill’s (Tea Leoni) political aide.

The drama centers on the personal and professional life of a maverick female secretary of state Elizabeth McGill (Tea Leoni) as she drives international diplomacy, wrangles office politics and balances a complex family life.

Bebe Neuwirth, Tim Daly, Erich Bergen and Patina Miller are also starring in CBS’ political drama pilot, which was created and written by Barbara Hall (Homeland, Joan of Arcadia).
