Shiri’s New Movie “The Devil’s Candy” Premieres At TIFF
Last year, Shiri Appleby was working on a new project in Austin, when she was asked to attend the ATX Television Festival and its 15th Anniversary Roswell panel with Jason Katims and her former co-stars, who were in the city to promote their new projects at the festival. She immediately agreed.
After taking a trip down memory lane and meeting loyal fans in Austin, Texas, she continued to work on her movie for another two weeks.
In an exclusive interview with Sappleby.com at the ATX Television Festival 2014, Shiri revealed that she was currently working on the horror movie “The Devil’s Candy” that will now celebrate its world premiere at the TIFF 2015.
The movie will air as part of the Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness program on September 10th and it also stars Ethan Embry, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Kiara Glasco.
Shiri exclusively explained to Sappleby.com, that the director has been fantastic. “His name is Sean Byrne. He made this horror movie, that became a cult classic and is called ‘The Loved Ones’, which Paramount has bought. He is just really talented.”
