Feb. 9, 2017 5:16 p.m. ET‘Doubt” (Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS) is a familiar sort of network series—about a law firm devoted to doing good, filled with bright eccentric spirits who spout the show’s one-liners with the speed of bullets, and otherwise hold office conversations bearing no resemblance to any that actual human beings engage in. The series is a fully equipped model of racial and gender diversity and includes a powerhouse of a transgender attorney.
