“Excited to be working on this with Maril and Matt Wolpert & Ben Nadivi – can’t say much except it’s super cool!”, wrote Ron Moore on Twitter. He also said: “Just to be clear: I’m not leaving Outlander! We’re well into filming S4 and talking about S5.”
With Apple going into original programming, the show from the former co-executive producer and author on Roswell’s second and third season is in good company. Apple’s first scripted TV show will star Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. They also gave the green light to an anthology series from Steven Spielberg and Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies, Hannibal).
In other news, it was announced that Jason Katims’ producing partner Michelle Lee will serve as senior creative executive for Apple. She is going to join the creative team starting next year, January 1st, 2018. Read more: Apple Enlists Jason Katims’ Producing Partner Michelle Lee
