Jason Katims-produced “Parenthood” scheduled to premiere in midseason
As reported in July, the production of “Parenthood” moved to midseason because of an illness that has befallen Maura Tierney. NBC postponed the production for eight weeks to late September. Now, the actress exits the Jason Katims-produced “Parenthood” to focus on her breast-cancer treatments.
E! Online reports that producers are searching for a new actress to play the part of Sarah Braverman, one of the four grown Braverman children. (The other siblings are played by Peter Krause, Dax Shepard and Erika Christensen.)
Some sources tell that Helen Hunt is in talks for the role in “Parenthood”. The series is now scheduled to premiere in midseason on NBC.
Get well soon Maura!
