All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records
In an interview with MTV in 2008 Colin Hanks spoke about his music documentary project about Tower Records. He told MTV News “It’s going to be a long process.” Now, Colin Hanks and his producing partner Sean Stuart decided to use the tools of the new era to help celebrate the old one. They started using Kickstarter, which is the largest funding platform for creative projects in the world.
“We feel that there is no one better suited to help to bring this documentary to life than the people that loved and cared for the company the most.
If you worked at the Tower Records, if you shopped at the Tower Records or if you’re just a fan of music history. We hope that you will help us with a contribution, so that we can finish our documentary of this incredible company and the end of an era in music history.”
Please consider getting involved. Visit Kickstarter and learn more.
You can follow the project on social networks, too. Follow @TowerRecordsDoc and you can receive updates via Facebook as well.
