NY Mag Interview: Colin Hanks Has a Bone to Pick With the Smurfs Movie

In February 2011 Colin Hanks made a voice appearance as Sam Witwicky and Vanity Smurf in Seth Green’s stop motion animation comedy “Robot Chicken”. When the actor spoke to the NY Mag about “Lucky”, “Dexter” and his documentary project they also talked about Smurfs.

[…] He called up Vulture recently to discuss all three projects, as well as a major objection he’s lobbying against the new Smurfs movie (which he’s prepared to drop if they’ll offer him a role).
