“The Onion Presents: The News”
William Sadler joined an upcoming Amazon Studios’ comedy pilot. He tweeted “Exciting announcement. It’s official. Drum roll… I’m shooting a swell new show, The Onion News Network.”
He is set to star opposite Jeffrey Tambor, Cheyenne Jackson and Aja Naomi King. The new comedy pilot is from the “The Onion” writers Will Graham and Dan Mirk. “The Onion Presents: The News” pilot is described as behind the scenes at the Onion News Network that shows just how far the journalists will go to stay at the top of their game.
