Jason Katims and Kerry Ehrin Re-Teaming for Female Cop Project

Deadline.com reports that the “Friday Night Lights” producers Jason Katims and Kerry Ehrin are re-teaming for an hourlong NBC project. The untitled dark comedy centers on two female police officers. The “Bates Motel” executive producer/co-showrunner Kerry Ehrin will write the pilot.

Jason Katims will executive produce alongside Kerry Ehrin and Michelle Lee.

Jason Katims upcoming series “About A Boy” will premiere in midseason on NBC. The show is based on the Nick Hornby novel with the same name. The show’s lead is Majandra Delfino’s husband David Walton.

His NBC show “Parenthood” will return for its 5th season on September 26th, 2013 at 10/9c on NBC.
