“The Meddler” US Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival
“The Meddler” celebrated its US premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 19th, 2016. As reported, Shiri Appleby is appearing in the drama which stars Susan Sarandon and Rose Byrne who are playing a mother and daughter duo.
Shiri filmed her small cameo as “Tv daughter” last year in April. “I had a ball working with these two lovely ladies yesterday on #themeddler @lorenescafaria #rosebyrne“ Shiri wrote on her Instagram account that day and shared a behind the scenes photo with Lorene Scafaria and Rose Byrne.
“I have a little role in The Meddler, which is out now in LA & NYC. I loved working with @lorenescafaria and can’t wait to see the awesome movie she made. Check it out when you can #callyourmother“, Shiri wrote on Instagram this week.
The movie centers on an aging widow from New York City who follows her daughter to Los Angeles in hopes of starting a new life after her husband passes away.
J.K. Simmons, Jerrod Carmichael, Cecily Strong and Lucy Punch are also starring.
