“Band Aid” Zoe Lister-Jones’ Directorial Debut Features Majandra & Colin
Variety reports, that Zoe Lister-Jones is set to make her directorial debut with the indie “Band Aid”, which she also wrote and produced.
The cast includes her former “Friends With Better Lives” co-stars Brooklyn Decker and Majandra Delfino as well as her “Life in Pieces” TV husband Colin Hanks. Hannah Simone, Jesse Williams, Susie Essman, Ravi Patel, Jamie Chung, Chris D’Elia are also on board.
Besides this great cast, the film has an all female production crew!
[…] Lister-Jones hired an all female production crew led by Producer Natalia Anderson, Cinematographer Hillary Spera, Production Designer Hillary Gurtler, Editor Libby Cuenin and Line Producer Kristen Murtha.With lyrics for the original songs written by Lister-Jones and composed by Kyle Forester, she, Pally, and Armisen recorded the music live during production, with Pally on guitar and Armisen on drums.
“I wanted to foster an environment that was collaborative and empowering for women,” said Lister-Jones.
Lister-Jones penned the script and produced under her boutique production company, Mister Lister Films, which she runs with filmmaker and husband, Daryl Wein, who served as EP on the project.
