In this updated version of the 1973 television movie classic, Ms. Doherty portrays Beth Hammersmith, a young woman investigating her sister’s apparent suicide, which leads her into a dangerous, mysterious web of intrigue and deception at an eastern woman’s college, where things are not always what they seem.
