Well, well, well. Lookee there. Our little show tied Voyager! Okay, these are just the overnights, so things could change, but it’s still nice to see. And it helped The WB pull in at fifth for the night, beating out UPN.

Overnight Metered Market Ratings for Wednesday, March 29, 2000.

NBC placed first in the overnight-metered ratings (Wednesday March 29) thanks to drama in the courthouse, with “Law & Order” helping the peacock to a 10.3 rating/16 share (last week, 11.2/18). ABC placed second with an 8.2/13 (8.2/13) fueled by “The Drew Carey Show.” CBS took third with a 7.2/11 (7.6/12), aided by its Wednesday night movie, “Fathers Day.” FOX grabbed fourth place with a 6.1/9 (4.9/8), getting some help from “Worlds Funniest Game Show Moments.” Meanwhile, WB placed fifth with a 3.3/5 (3.2/5) and UPN took sixth with a 3.1/5 (3.4/5).

NBC started off the night with “Dateline NBC,” nabbing a 9.1/14 (8.6/14). At 9 p.m., an encore “West Wing” garnered a solid 10.1/16 (11.0/17). Following the political drama was the top performer of the night, a repeat of “Law & Order,” which made a case for itself with an 11.7/20 (14.2/23) at 10 p.m.

ABC led off the night with “Two Guys and a Girl,” taking a 7.4/12 (7.8/13) at 8 p.m. The new romantic comedy, “Then Came You” dropped a bit from last week to a 6.1/9 (7.4/11). Next was “The Drew Carey Show,” scoring top honors for the network with a 9.9/15 (10.1/15). At 9:30, the political comedy “Spin City” walked away with an 8.8/13 (9.1/14). Rounding out the evening, “20/20” garnered an 8.6/14 (7.5/12).

CBS started with the inner-city hospital drama, “City of Angels,” taking a 6.6/10 (6.7/11) at 8 p.m. It was followed by the CBS Wednesday movie, “Fathers Day.” The flick averaged a 7.6/12 between 8-10 p.m., peaking at 9 p.m. with an 8.0/12. (last week, “Primal Fear,” 8.0/12).

FOX started the night with “The World’s Funniest Game Show Moments,” grabbing an 8.4/13 (last week, “Beverly Hills, 90210,” 5.9/9). It was followed by “Get Real,” which nabbed a 3.9/6 (3.9/6).

The WB began the night with an encore “Dawson’s Creek,” taking a 3.5/6 (3.4/5) at 8 p.m. It was followed by a previously aired “Roswell,” which managed a 3.2/5 (3.0/5).

UPN filled the primetime hours with an encore “7 Days,” pulling in a 3.0/5 (3.4/5). A repeat of “Star Trek Voyager” followed at 9 p.m., managing a 3.2/5 (3.4/5).
