“7th HEAVEN” SCORES AGAIN & “ROSWELL” HOLDS 100% OF THE WOMEN 18-34 AUDIENCE

THE WB ACHIEVES ANOTHER WEEK OF GAINS & STILL LEADS ALL NETS IN GROWTH FOR SEASON

Speaking of family-friendly dramas, 7TH HEAVEN scored for The WB last night (April 30). The series achieved year-to-year gains in women 18-34 (3.0, +20%), persons 12-34 (2.7, +8%), women 12-34 (3.8, +27%), adults 18-49 (2.2, +16%), women 18-49 (2.8, +27%), teens (4.4, +33%), female teens (6.0, +30%), male teens (+45%), households (4.2, +24%) and total viewers (6.1 million, +27%).

ROSWELL followed up by holding 7TH HEAVEN’S audience incredibly well. Not only did the second-year drama score year-to-year gains in eight key demos and total viewers (including +25% in women 18-34 and +65% in female teens), it held all of it’s lead-in’s audience in women 18-34 (3.0), and nearly all of it in adults 18-34 (2.1 off a 2.0), persons 12-34 (2.4 off a 2.7), women 12-34 (3.6 off a 3,8), women 18-49 (2.2 off a 2.8) teens (3.7 off a 4.4), male teens (2.3 off a 2.9) and female teens (5.1 off a 6.0).

The WB continues to post the strongest year-to-year gains on a season-to-date basis across the 18-34 and 18-49 demographics. The network’s delivery was up over the prior season among adults 18-34 (+13%), women 18-34 (2.4, +14%), men 18-34 (+18%), adults 18-49 (+14%), women 18-49 (2.0, +11%) and men 18-49 (+20%). The WB is the top-rated network this season among female teens (3.7).

For the week, The WB scored solid growth versus the parallel week a year ago across the 18-34 demographics, building +6% in rating among adults 18-34, gaining +5% in rating among women 18-34 and improving +20% in rating among men 18-34. The WB also achieved year-to-year gains among adults 18-49 (+7%) and women 18-49 (+6%). The network was right on target with year-ago deliveries among persons 12-34, women 12-34 (2.6), men 12-34, men 18-49 and female teens. The WB led all competitors among female teens, ranking #1 for the week.

“7th Heaven” Scores #2 Rank For Entire Week In Female Teens
7TH HEAVEN achieved the highest delivery of the night among female teens (8.3/25), which was placed it #2 for the week, and teens (5.3) and ranked #3 in its time period among persons 12-34 (3.1) and women 12-34 (4.6). 7TH HEAVEN also topped ABC in its time period among men 12-34, adults 18-34 (2.3), women 18-34 (3.2), men 18-34, adults 18-49 (2.4), women 18-49 (3.3) and men 18-49.

7TH HEAVEN registered outstanding gains over the equivalent Monday a year ago in persons 12-34 (3.1, +29%), women 12-34 (4.6, +31%), men 12-34 (1.6, +23%), adults 18-34 (2.3, +28%), women 18-34 (3.2, +14%), men 18-34 (+44%), adults 18-49 (2.4, +60%), women 18-49 (3.3, +50%), men 18-49 (+100%), teens (5.3, +36%), and female teens (8.3, +51%).

ROSWELL finished #1 in its time period among female teens (4.8) and tied FOX’s Ally McBeal for the #1 spot among teens (3.2). The show also defeated ABC in persons 12-34, women 12-34 (2.7), and men 12-34. The sci-fi drama posted solid gains over the parallel Monday a year ago among adults 18-49 (+15%), women 18-49 (2.0, +18%), men 18-49 (+11%), teens (+7%), female teens (+20%) and total viewers (+17%).
