GH’s Laura Lands Roswell Role

General Hospital’s Genie Francis (Laura) will soon do some extracurricular
work as an extraterrestrial on the WB primetime drama Roswell.
The GH star will appear on Roswell’s season finale May 15 as the mother of
space-alien teens Max and Isabel. According to Soaps in Depth, Francis’
character will be seen “in a vision, delivering a message.”
Future visions of Francis on Roswell aren’t out of the question, either. If
the quirky show is picked up for another season, her character “could very
well return” next season, a WB spokesperson says in the magazine.
Though it’s her first appearance on the otherworldly primetimer, Francis is
no stranger to Roswell. Her husband, Star Trek actor Jonathan Frakes, is
executive producer of the series.
