BRENDAN FEHR WPIX Interview, transcribed by MyrnaLynne

(Note – interviewer questions were very hard to hear)

BF: We.. uh…in the final episode of the season, it became known to us
why we’re on this planet, and all the rest of it. Uh.. so.. yeh, there’s
some bad aliens walking amongst the people as well, and it’s kind of our
responsiblity….. we are now the Freedom Fighters of, uh, Planet Earth
and then subsequently our planet later on, hopefully…

Interviewer: question?…looking forward to…

BF: Yeh, exactly…I’m trying to keep it contained in the States. Let my
people up there in Canada run free… But yeh, it’s gonna be fun, it’s
gonna be a lot more action, you know, there’ll be a lot of kicking butt
maybe – better than the high school stuff.

Interviewer: Are we going to see you taking any special training or
classes

BF: I have no idea.

Interviewer: .. stunt doubles?

BF: No, no I hate stunt doubles… (laughing) I don’t hate stunt doubles,
uh, I do as much as I can, as much as I am allowed. But, no.. I dig
it…
I’m Canadian, I’m rough and tough (joking) I like to hit – bar fights..
drinking. Nah! Yeh.. no… I like to do my own stunts as much as I can.
I think, you know, it looks better – well, not necessarily because stunt
doubles know what they are doing. I kind of fall ungracefully. It looks
more real mainly, well, yeh.

Interviewer: Any projects in the works on down time?

BF: Yeh, I’m starting to film a movie called “The Foresaken” – it’s a
vampire movie. So I’m a hunter – gonna be like Buffy.. get a few tips.

Interviewer: question? (maybe about being cast in shows about aliens and
vampires)

BF: I don’t know, I don’t know what that means.

Interviewer: question?

BF: I’m 22 years old and I’m a Scorpio.. yeh

Interviewer: ? question (about where he hangs out?)

BF: The Pemby, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Interviewer: ?question (about being Canadian?)

BF: Maybe… all right (shakes her hand)
