Roswell’s Crashdown Party

Last weekend, the Roswell fansite “Crashdown” hosted a convention for the show’s fans plus some special guests and we were there.

Thrown at the trendy Key Club on the Sunset Strip, the space was decorated with large Tabasco bottles (the aliens’ condiment of choice) strung from the ceiling and bright green and black balloons.

The party revelers ranged in age, ethnicities, and came from all over the world. Excitement was definitely in the air, but everyone was still keeping in mind the party’s two objectives: to save Roswell and to stop hunger.

For the latter, there were tables set up downstairs with auction items such as pajamas worn by Katherine Heigl and hospital scrubs worn by Jason Behr with all proceeds going to Roswell is Hot, Hunger is Not (RIHHIN).

To everyone’s delight, most of the cast were able to make an appearance including: Behr, Brendan Fehr, Heigl, Majandra Delfino, Colin Hanks, and Nick Wechler. Though they had been filming until 4AM the previous day, the cast were gracious enough to sign autographs, talk to fans, and even pose for a couple of pics.
